Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme in France was born the 9th of August in 1976. Audrey was the eldest child of four. Her parents a dental surgeon and teacher recognized and supported her love of theatre and drama from a young age which superseded an initial desire to be a primatologist due to her passion for monkeys. When she was a teenager rising to the heights of fame was quick and accompanied by early success. Following her studies in 1998 she took part in the French program for scouting talent on TV called Jeunes Premiers which was sponsored by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors before beginning acting professionally. Tautou, who attended her school at the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris as a child and enrolled in the school at young age, has disavowed her Catholic education. She now declares herself to be non-Catholic. In addition to acting, she has also been a model and the model of L'Oreal Mont Blanc as well as Chanel. Tautou also appeared alongside Tom Hanks in Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code directed by Dan Brown.
