Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada. She's an actress that has appeared in a variety of television shows. She is also a star in the field of film. The actress is well-known on Canadian as well as American television. At the age of Emily was 12 she became interested in acting after she visited her sister Katie at the location of one of her movies. She started taking classes in acting and auditioning after realizing that she had a passion for acting. The first commercials she auditioned for were, but soon got cast as a child actor in the Canadian television show, Are You Scared of Darkness? which featured her only in one scene, without any dialog. The WB TV show Glory Days, she received her first break in the industry at age 15. Emily's acting skills caught the attention of Dawson's Creek's Greg Berlanti, who then invited her to his TV show Everwood. Emily was an accomplished ballet dancer, as well as a photographer. Teen once named her among the best actors under the age of twenty. The Maxim's Hot 100 for 2014 listed her at #51.
